Karl Landsteiner in Google’s Logo Today

Almost every student who ever learns biology knows Karl Landsteiner. He was a man who invented the blood classification into A, B , AB, and O types. Only the same blood types can be transfused each other. Then, the first blood transfusion successfully occurred in 1907. Until today, his invention is proved helps the human lives. With this classification, a man can gives his blood safely to others. If you want to donate your bloods, you can go to the hospital or other institution that gives this service (for example: Red Cross). You can also donate accidentally when you hear someone who needs blood, of course if his blood types is same with yours. To honor Landsteiner, Google makes a special doodle for him.
