Today, the Hindi all over the world celebrate the beginning of spring with Holi Festival. In the peak of this festival, they throw the coloring powder (Holi) or splash the coloring water each other. In the night before the peak day is called as Holika Dahan (the Holika’s death), they turn on the fire. This ritual is held regularly to memorize the day when Prahlada, the loyal folower of Wishnu, was succesfully save himself from Holika who wanted to burn him. Contrary, in that moment, Holika was die because of her own fire. Holi Festival usually is celebrated in the last full moon of winter, and they celebrate it for 16 days.
From this story, we realize that Holi Festival is a Religious Day for Hindi. So, we can say that Muslims of course are not allowed to celebrate this festival, even if just for fun. However, Muslims have a duty to make a peace, ni matter wherever they are. So, related to this festival, Muslims must take a part to ensure that everybody is safe to do their belief. The true Muslims ensure that they will not do anything that can disturb this festival, nor them who celebrate this festival.
