In the beginning of this month until the mid, there are two doodles by Google we can enjoy almost in all over the world. The first doddle is created to celebrate the Lunar New Years 2016 (Chinese New Year) and, the second, to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
As a follower of Islam, I don’t celebrate these days because it will affect my obedience to my religion rule. The main rule of Islam is to worship only for Allah, following His guidance through Al-Qur’an and Hadits (Prophet Muhammad as a model we must follow). One of the commandment we must obey is we are prohibited to treat any day as a big day to celebrate, except Eid al-Fitr ad Eid al-Adha. Indeed, we are not allowed to celebrate Hijriyah New year (Islamic New Year), the birthday, other religion’s celebrations, the special moments which are noted in history (even in history of Islam), etc. This prohibition also includes the words to greet those moments. However, it doesn’t make us allowed to make a rebellion to any celebration. We are ordered to keep our respect to any celebrations. How do we do it? We must keep the celebration run safely, we don’t bother the celebration, don’t hurt the people who celebrate it, and be nice to them. That is our way to respect to others celebration. We don’t take a participation to celebrate, we don’t say any greeting, but we always try to keep everything safe and do the good deeds.
