Father’s day is dedicated to the father all around the world, to celebrate the fatherhood and parenthood. The date is vary in many country. However, there are a lot of countries that celebrate father’s day in June. Then, Google made a special doodle above for father’s day in June. This June, this doodle had been appears for four times. The first one was on June 5th to celebrate the father’s day in Switzerland and Lithuania. Then we can see it again on June 12th for Austria, June 17th for El Salvador and Guatemala, and today/yesterday (June 19th) for many countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Chile, France, Czech, Greece, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, India, Japan, and Philippine. However, in the beginning, the father’s day was celebrated only for Catholic countries like United Kingdom and others European countries on March 19th. It was coincide with St. Joseph feast day. As it is not a Catholic country, United States did not celebrate this day. However, in 20th century, United States began to celebrate it too, to offset the mother’s day. This day become a parental day, no further a religious day.
